Safety Warning Add-On

I was in Dubai for 2 months and noticed every heavy or cargo vehicles had these safety reflective stickers on the rear. Thought was a cool idea and brought some back to install on our Campervan. Also found an interesting lamp that makes beep sounds when the vehicle is backing up. This will alert anyone who is at the rear of the vehicle.  

Back-Up Alert

Back-Up Alert for vehicle that does not have any back up audio warning, this will be a nice to add-on. Comes with Bright Halogen bulb and a warning audio of 87dB

Rather easy to replace, no wire to remove or install. Just remove old back-up bulb and replace with the  Back-Up Alert. Personally I think changing just one lamp will do but I had changed both. 

Few notes if you planning to install the Back-up Alert.

• make sure your bulb connection type is 1156. (15mm base) It's standard for most Japanese vehicle.
• the lamp housing for the connector must have an opening of at least 30mm diameter opening, otherwise it will not fit. 
• should not put the lamp "ON" for too long (2~3mins). This will cause the heat from the halogen bulb to melt the plastic lens cover.

I think Taiwan Government should make it mandatory for all heavy and cargo vehicle to have these on. Did you know in Dubai if you are involved in any traffic related accident, you are found guilty even you are not at fault. You will be guilty until proven innocent....interesting law.
