Cabin Interior LED Lighting

Bought these cheap LEDs, some connectors, switches and 10mtrs wire to use with our vehicle Aux Battery. One white LED will be used on the cool box, the other will be the kitchen and the red LED for night vision so that it is not obvious from outside of our vehicle and also not to disturb partner when she is asleep.

Planned to installed these switches on the seat belt mechanism cover. I removed the covers back home and started measuring and cut a few holes for the switches. I did all the necessary wiring on cover so that it was easier to installed in the vehicle.

Total cost for installation NTD383

made these connectors, if the LED becomes faulty, it can be easily removed and replaced

These LED comes with 18 SMD LED and can be cut to any desired length. These LED consumed low amps and very ideal for our usage.

removed the belt mechanism covers, the left side is where the aux main battery supply comes and it is near to the battery isolator which was previously installed

I decided to relocate the cigarette socket to the right seat belt mechanism which was previously on the left side. Made some improvement and this will be permanently use for the cool box.

Completed wiring for switches and a mini cigarette socket

 Added night glow stickers

Removed the upper air-con housing and did the routing from this hole

connected all the necessary wires together

switches are installed in this location because it is easily accessible

On the left side, this cigarette socket will be used for the cool box, switch will be used to cut out aux battery supply when we are connected to a 110V external supply. Also included a 110V multi plug

even though the LED comes with 3M double sided tape, under hot sun these 3M tape will come loose. I decided to staple them on to the DIY top side shelf.
