The last typhoon had ripped off my front left passenger side wind deflector. Sometime back I had accidentally broke it into 2 pieces and had use a duct tape to hold in place. The current wind deflector was by EGR but I could not find any replacement from the internet. I ended up placing a local order for a brand new set.

The mounting is of screw type which is better, the EGR uses is a push clip which can come off easily.

Verdict
Can't compare with EGR product, EGR construction is much better than these wind deflector made in Taiwan. But for the price and availability of these wind deflector, we just have to make do. The bubble wind deflector is better in a way that it deflects wind and rain as proven by our previous EGR model. The upper vertical shield is wider and it provides enough opening space for ventilation while camping in the van and yet keeps out the rain and prying eyes from noticing the window opening.
PS recommend to use Loctite Blue 242 or similar just for thread lock. Do not use Locite Red 271 as it will be very difficult to remove in future.
